Al Mualim (betrayed the Assassins)

Rashid ad-Din Sinan was born in 1135 in Basra in the Caliphate of the Abbasides. He is known as Al Mualim, which roughly translates to “the Mentor”. He was the mentor of the Levantian Assassin Brotherhood until 1191. Eventually he betrayed to brotherhood in order to obtain the Apple of Eden and started working together with the Templar Order. He was killed by Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad in september 1191 in Maysaf.

Henry Green

Jayadeep Mir, known as Henry Green, was the son of Arbaaz Mir and born on the 7th of December 1843 in the Sikh Empire. He helped Jacob and Evie Frye in their battle against the Templar Order in London and joined the Order of the Sacred Garter in 1868. He married Evie Frye and they settled in India for 20 years before returning to Britain.

Lydia Frye

Lydia Frye was born on the 19th of March in 1893 in Britain. She was a member of the British Assassin Brotherhood and the granddaughter of Jacob Frye. She was married toe Sam Crowder. During the Great War, also known as World War I, she assassinated spies who were led by a Sage in London. Her help during the war was requested by Winston Churchill.

Leonardo Da Vinci

Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci (1452 – 1519) was an anatomist, cartographer, painter, botanist, sculpter, engineer, architect and mathematician from the renaissance. By scientists from the entire world Leonardo is envisioned as one of the smartest and most important figures in the history of humankind.

In Assassin's Creed Leonardo has an important role in the battle between the Assassins and Templars. A battle which was fought heavily during his lifetime in Italy. He was a personal friend and ally of the Florentine assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze.

Caterina Sforza

Caterina Sforza, born in 1463 and died in 1509 was the daughter of the Duke of Milan. while illegitimate, she received a great education. After she became the duchess of Forli, she met Ezio Auditore while she was marooned on an island by her husband.

While not trying to spoil to much about her part in the story, Caterina has a significant storyline and met Ezio multiple times. The two of them became close friends and Caterina was a great asset against the Templar Order.

Sofia Auditore-Sartor

Sofia Sartor was born in 1476 in Constantinople but was forced to move to Venice in 1499 after the start of the Ottoman-Venice war. In 1507 Sofia returned to Constantinople to start a Bookshop at the Polo tradepost. In 1511 she met Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Eventually she marries Ezio and gives birth to two children.

Lorenzo de’ Medici

Lorenzo de’ Medici was the facto ruler of the Florentine Republic during the Italian Renaissance. He was known as il Magnifico by the Florentines. He was also a Diplomat, Politician and a patron for scholars, artist and poets. During his reign he maintained peace between the various Italian city states, which after his died quickly collapsed. His death marked the end of the Golden Age of Florence.

He was an Ally of the Assassins and a family friend of the Auditores. Lorenzo helped Giovanni Auditore against the corrupt Borgia family. After Giovanni’s death, Lorenzo was saved from a Templar assassination by Ezio Auditore.
